City Lights will be host for a David Byrne Powerpoint Presentation to commemorate the release of Byrne's new book: THE NEW SINS. I'll be there for sure.

After watching Robert Miles spin CD's at the Virgin megastore yesterday, I decided to pickup his new CD, Organik. I like it. He's playing tonight but it doesn't look like I'll be able to make it. I was looking forward to catching the visuals. I met the man who will be doing the visuals for the gig and he was interesting. An old timer who's been doing visuals since the 60's. He makes it happen on the spot... nothing is snyced up with the music in his world.

David Byrne is playing at the Warfield in San Francisco on July 30 and 31. Byrne was the lead singer of the Talking Heads. He turned 50 this year and I intend to see him play some music.
