Welcome to iceplant radio by DJ dBug
Let's do the hula
Almost two years ago, I moved from Hawaii to the East Bay looking for web work. To start my adventure, I took a week long course at Lynda.com in Adobe GoLive web design. That was a lot of fun and I met some cool people. Then, it was off to the find a home in the Bay and attend the Seybold Convention. I wasn't really interested in much at the convention but I was sure looking forward to the meeting that Dave Winer assembled. I got there early and ran into my friends and long time manila hosts from Weblogger, Erin Clerico and Bryan Bell. I felt inspired.
And then I landed a job at The Coral Reef Alliance as Internet & Technology Coordinator. Life is good. Seybold is here again. Dave will be talking about Web Services, and I'm now busy passing on the weblogging torch at work.
Audioblogging
What's next? Is it audioblogging? I imagine those who are dyslexic would love to get daily posts read to them. If you build the tool, I will use it. That's my phil-os-o-phy. Imagine it, a voice to go with the printed words.
I want a Max Headroom edition of iceplant radio in the future. A culmination of weblogging, audioblogging, videoblogging and some good old fashioned video toaster effects thrown in to spice it up a bit.
