When Radio first started making its appearance, the cloud was hosted on the domain, ourfavoritesongs.com. That was a strange time. Who knew that Radio would have turned out to be my most used tool and who knew that it wouldn't have anything to do with a list of other users and the music they like.

Hiya iceplant readers. Donovan here. I've been busy on a few projects and haven't had any time for weblogging. Regarding iceplant radio, the station, some of you have probably been asking yourself, "Where is it? Well, I closed my account on Live365 and have finally found a suitable alternative for now. It's called Nicecast. I'm streaming out some tunes right now using it and iTunes. In your music player, enter http://radio.iceplant.org:8000 and enjoy. I'm also working on a new online magazine called Coral Reef Report. The old incarnation was a weblog and directory of links. In the new form, CRR will emerge as an online magazine of voices from the coral reef world. I'm also looking into ways to support Dive In To Earth Day this year by possibly becoming a 'Coral Park Buddy' and helping to fundraise for a particular coral park. Stay tuned for some interesting articles about coral reefs.
