Lynda HOT Book

My new book, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 Hands-on Training, by Lynda.com books, arrived today. I can't wait to get into the nooks and crannies of Dreamweaver. There is so much about it I haven't learned yet.
I am a Lynda.com graduate, did you know? A few years ago, I moved from Hawaii to the Bay area looking for web work. First stop, a week-long design course in Ojai, California with Lynda's team of HTML gurus (Lynda only made an appearance the last day!). That was back before anybody was really doing much with CSS so they taught me the totally non-web standards based style of design, naturally. After the course I even applied for a job and Lynda expressed interest in my skills. Before we could engage in further discussion, I was hired by CORAL and the rest is on my blog.
Coral Reef Report Born Again

iceplant radio readers, I wanted to let you know that I've released Coral Reef Report. I hope you all enjoy it. I sure had fun making the first issue a reality and couldn't have done it without a lot of help from my friends.
There's some inspiring stuff in there. Rather than tell you about it here, I suggest you go check it out right now. Be sure to visit the amazing gallery by Linda Cline, too!
If the web site looks a bit familiar to any of you, I would say, "If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of Jeffrey" but I'll quote Chuck Jones instead - "you're crazy if you don't imitate others." :-)
And I know this is heresy, but I don't have an xml feed for the site yet. I'm still deciding on which system I'm going to use! Radio? pMachine? Soon come.
ps - One more thing. please consider purchasing a raffle ticket or two for the chance to win Ottmar Liebert's guitar. This is a very easy way to take action for coral reef conservation. Thanks, if you can.. - donovan.
