GPCA monitors the effect of Disney reclamation project

GPCA: "We had discovered a significant quantity of dead corals on the northern coast of Tai Lei Island (a small island close to Peng Chau). After the Farming and Fishery Department's study, it was concluded that there had been coral reefs in that area. We believed that the reclamation project in Penny's Bay was the cause of the destruction of the reef. The government did not make an environmental impact accessment before the Disney project started."
