A Recap of Building of Basecamp
One of my favorite new tools in my web site project management bag of tricks is Basecamp. My clients and anyone who works with me are given an account on my project site first thing. It's a great tool for teams who need to check in with each other as a project progresses.
There was a Building of Basecamp workshop recently. I didn't make it but I'm glad that Deane wrote a review.
I dig the Flickr Uploader for OS X
Flickr is pretty cool. It's so easy to post a picture to a blog. Today I set my preferences to add a Creative Commons sharealike license to all my photos. The new beta uploader works great too. It enables drag and drop uploading from iPhoto and the Finder, and setting tags and privacy in a batch.
Art attack update
If I had a weblog about genetics, I'd surely post something about this item.
Art attack update: "University of Buffalo professor Steve Kurtz, a member of the Critical Art Ensemble, was charged yesterday with mail and wire fraud. As you may recall, Kurtz has been under investigation after he awoke to find his wife dead and called the police who discovered some biological materials related to Kurtz's latest art project. (See this post for background.) Robert Ferrell, chair of the Department of Human Genetics at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Public Health, was also charged for helping Kurtz obtain $256 worth of harmless bacteria. The absurdity continues. Link"

my flickr photos
I setup a flickr account to post some photos. It's pretty darn easy to post a picture from iPhoto to the web with this free service.
