After watching Barack Obama speak at the DNC tonight, I pulled up his site and guess what? He's got a weblog. And they even provide a full post RSS feed in addition to a summary feed. Imagine that. I look forward to seeing what happens with this young man in the future.
New battery for my IBM ThinkPad 600E

In order to update the bios on my thinkpad, the battery must be fully charged. So, I just ordered one from Kahlon. It costs about $80. Expensive bios update I think. While I don't really need a new battery, I'm hoping this will eventually allow me to properly install a wireless card in my laptop so that I can stop depending on dialup to connect to the net all the time, even in my wireless office.
BTW, I don't particularly care for Windows but I really like this sturdy little laptop. It's a very well built machine.
