Secure wireless email on Mac OS X
Thanks to this post on Stopdesign, I'll be checking my email securely while on the road. And from the comfort of my own house from now on.
"After more than a year of implementing my own measures, I think it's time to help raise awareness of email security. And in doing so, document the way I use SSH to read and send email securely on Mac OS X. If you're concerned about strangers having open access to your usernames and passwords, and all the email you send and receive while connected to a public wireless network -- whether you use a Mac or not -- you'll want to read this."

Welcome to T-Mobile HotSpot!
After talking with Nick Starr, I decided to go with an Unlimited National - Month to Month with T-Mobile. It's $40/month and should make it very easy for me to stay connected while on the road. I'll be cruising down to Starbucks today or tomorrow to try it out before I leave.
There is some Connection software to download for PC people but nothing for us Mac folk. I guess that means I'll just choose tmobile from my Airport menu? Easy enough.
